At the Intersection of Practice and Purpose

After more than a decade in the education sector, Mr. Ojas Barve, Co-Founder & CEO of Hyriki, reached a point of reflection.

Deeply engaged in building, leading, and solving within the industry, particularly through his work in an education technology platform, he had developed strong practical experience. Through this, he became increasingly aware of how educational institutions approach key decisions, particularly in areas such as talent and capability assessment.

Yet, alongside this experience, there was a growing recognition that to create more meaningful and sustained impact, he needed to engage more deeply, to strengthen how he thinks, questions, and approaches his work.

It was at this intersection of experience and intention that he chose to re-engage with professional development.

A Return to Structured Development

Currently engaged in the Professional Doctorate in Education with European International University (EIUโ€“Paris), Mr. Barve describes this step as a significant milestone in his professional journey.

โ€œPursuing the Professional Doctorate in Education at EIUโ€“Paris has been a significant step in my professional journey. After working for over a decade in the education space, it is giving me a new direction in my career. I would recommend it to practising educators and education professionals.โ€

Rather than stepping away from practice, this engagement has complemented his existing experience, encouraging more structured thinking, deeper reflection, and a broader perspective on leadership and innovation.

Reflecting on this phase, Mr. Barve describes a gradual but meaningful shift in how he approaches his work. What began as a pursuit of further development evolved into a deeper transformation, one that reshaped how he thinks, questions assumptions, and engages with ideas.
