Dr. Sindhuja R P, PhD in Health Sociology from EIU Paris Class of 2025, is a distinguished scholar-athlete and guidance counselor at Amura Health. Her academic and professional journey combines a passion for health, nutrition, and holistic education with a commitment to community wellbeing, reflecting a rare balance of research, practice, and athletic excellence.

Transforming Research into Impact
Dr. Sindhuja’s doctorate strengthened her ability to design and conduct independent research, especially through collaborative and field-based work at LIPS Research Centre, Marthandam. Her research journey fostered confidence, resilience, and critical thinking, equipping her for meaningful academic, research, and community-focused roles.

Bridging Research, Health, and Nutrition
Dr. Sindhuja holds a PG Diploma in Nutrition and Diet Planning and a Diploma in Yoga Training from Tulip International Institute, complementing her PhD in Health Sociology. Her prior degrees include a Master of Social Work, BA in Sociology, and PG Diplomas in Human Resource Management and Public Relations.
Her research contributions include papers such as “A Need of Food Education Among Parents School Children” (LIPS Journal), “A Survey on Food and Lifestyle Habits” (IJSREM, 2023), and studies on nutrition habits and tribal communities.
Excellence Beyond Academia
A multi-sport champion, Dr. Sindhuja has earned national accolades in shooting, swimming, long jump, triple jump, and athletics. Highlights include:
- Gold medals at SBKF 7th & 8th National Games (2022–2023)
- State Level Player Award (2020)
- Guinness 10km Marathon – ranked 1510th out of 34,000 participants
She also shares her expertise as a swimming coach and holistic nutritionist, having trained children and women, and volunteered with NGOs focusing on environmental and elderly welfare issues.

Currently, Dr. Sindhuja serves as Senior Guidance Counsellor at Amura Health and a holistic nutritionist at Game Changer. Her combined expertise in research, nutrition, and social work empowers her to create impactful educational and community programs. Through her interdisciplinary approach, she continues to promote healthy living, informed nutrition, and equitable educational practices, inspiring others to integrate research, health, and community service in meaningful ways.
