The Accreditation Service for International Schools, Colleges and University (ASIC), U.K. full inspection visit, facilitated by its Chairman, Dr. Maurice Dimmock took place at the Corporate Strategy & Operations Headquarter of the European International University (EIU) in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 19, 2018.
The inspection visit required key administrators and faculty members of EIU to present vital information and clarification about the place and role of EIU in the global higher education space. ASIC focuses on inspecting and quality assuring aspects of higher education operations pertaining to governance, management, staff resource, premises, health & safety, learning, teaching, research activity, quality enhancement, student welfare & services, awards and qualifications, marketing & recruitment of students, as well as information systems management.
ASIC inspection process allows for independent and unbiased scrutiny of education business operations to ensure high quality outcomes as a result of all that is planned and executed by the institution under examination. The best part of ASIC inspection process is its focus on whole student experience and on the core staff expertise and experience to ensure optimal learning and development of students.
Added with the fact that ASIC inspection is executed by individuals possessing a wealth of expertise and experience in international education sector (such as Dr. Maurice Dimmock), the institution in question is guided to become as student-centric as possible in all that they say, do and plan. In short, ASIC inspection allows institutions such as EIU to commit to, uphold and carry on with efforts and commitment to providing a high quality learning experience for students, whether through regular, blended or distance (online) learning mode.
