For Mr. Gohram Ali, a finance professional based in the United Arab Emirates, career development has been shaped by both determination and a commitment to building practical experience.
Beginning his journey in Pakistan, he entered the workforce early to support personal responsibilities while gaining hands-on experience in the field of finance. Seeking broader opportunities and international exposure, he later moved to the UAE, a transition that played an important role in shaping his professional direction.
Working across organisations such as GCC Exchange and in his current role at VIA Medica, he has developed experience in financial operations, particularly in credit control and treasury support, within an international corporate environment.
Building Capability Through Practice
In his current role, Mr. Ali is responsible for managing accounts receivable, overseeing client collections, and supporting financial monitoring, while also assisting treasury operations to maintain financial control and cash flow.
These responsibilities require accuracy, consistency, and a structured approach to financial processes. Reflecting on his career, he notes that his move to the UAE, along with his experience at GCC Exchange and VIA Medica, significantly contributed to his professional growth by strengthening his financial, operational, and analytical skills.
Strengthening Financial Perspective Through Study
Alongside his professional responsibilities, Mr. Ali pursued a Master of Business Administration in Finance at European International University (EIU–Paris), fulfilling a long-standing goal to strengthen his academic knowledge and professional capabilities.
