His extensive experience as a lawyer, judge, and member of prestigious international organizations will undoubtedly enrich the learning experience of EIU-Paris students.

About Dr. Fredrick Otieno Aoko, PhD, LLD, h.c., DBA.
Dr. Fredrick Otieno Aoko, Esq. is a Kenyan lawyer, New York Attorney, Judge with the CPR (IMC) Brazil, committee member of the young arbitrators with International Institute of Conflict Prevention and Resolution (CPR, United States of America). He was born and raised in Njoro within Nakuru County.
Professionally, he is an active member of global institutions like the New York Bar Association(NYSBA), Common Wealth Lawyers Association(CWLA), African Arbitration Association(AFAA), a chartered arbitrator of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Ciarb, Kenya and London ),International Commission of Jurists(ICJ, Kenya chapter), a Certified adjudicator with International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC), Certified Professional Mediator(Mediation Training Institute), a Court Annexed Mediator (Judiciary of Kenya), a Certified Elder Mediator (Mediators’ Institute of Ireland and Elder Mediation International Network), Certified Family Mediator (Family Mediation Training, Canada), member of the National Certified Mediator (NCPM,USA),Member of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA),member of the African User Council amongst other professional bodies.
Dr. Fredrick Otieno Aoko is also the recipient of our first-ever Postdoctoral Fellow in Institutional Development, Resource Mobilization, and Academic Leadership and was recently conferred the title in the recent convocation ceremony in the Middle East. This recognition highlights not only his accomplishments but also the significance of his contributions to EIU’s growth and global reach
He is an acclaimed Arbitrator and Mediator with a distinguished career in law. Academically, he holds a Doctorate in Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution, Honoris Causa (LLD, h.c) from the European International University and another Honorary Doctorate from the European School of Management and leadership. Fredrick holds a Bachelors of Laws (LLB) from Mt. Kenya University, a Masters of Law (LLM) from University of Birmingham, Masters in International Relations from Liverpool John Moores University. Post graduate certificates from the Harvard Executive Law School, Kenya School of Law and the University of Cambridge.
