It’s no small feat to earn a degree while managing a full-time career, but Iqra Aijaz did just that, graduating in Finance from EIU Paris. Currently a Financial Accounting Specialist at a FinTech company NewDay in the UK, Iqra’s journey highlights the power of flexible education.
“Graduating in Finance from EIU Paris while working full-time was made possible thanks to the university’s flexible, self-paced curriculum,” Iqra shares. This adaptable structure was crucial for her, allowing her to balance her professional commitments with her academic aspirations.
Iqra found the program to be incredibly practical and relevant, perfectly designed for professionals like her who need an education that fits into real-world demands. She particularly appreciated the constant encouragement and assistance from the EIU Paris team. “I truly appreciated the ongoing support from faculty and staff, which made my academic journey smooth and achievable,” she notes.

From EIU to UK Master’s and Beyond
Iqra’s success didn’t stop there. When applying for her Master’s in the UK, she initially had some concerns about whether her EIU degree would be recognized. “To be honest, initially I was a bit concerned will the university I want to be admitted will accept and recognise EIU’s graduation degree or not,” she admits.
However, her worries were quickly put to rest. “They did recognise it straight away and I got my admission confirmed ✅,” she happily reports. This smooth transition paved the way for her current role.
I am so elated and finally landed in a great job, a testament to the strong foundation EIU Paris education provided.
