Dr. Lau Kin Man, a seasoned professional with a background in Information Technology, Computing, Commerce, and Accounting, recognized a critical gap in modern management: the underutilization of psychological principles in the workplace. While many managers focus solely on process and efficiency, often treating employees as mere cogs in a machine, Dr. Lau Kin Man understood the importance of human-centric leadership. This realization led him to pursue a Doctorate in Psychology, a significant undertaking alongside his demanding career.
Recognizing the challenges of balancing a demanding career with rigorous academic pursuits, Dr. Lau Kin Man chose the flexibility of EIU-Paris. The university’s distance learning program provided him with the necessary support and flexibility to pursue his academic goals while fulfilling his professional responsibilities. This innovative approach enabled him to successfully complete both a Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) in 2022 and a Doctorate in Psychology (PsyD) in 2023 from EIU-Paris.
