From a bustling corporate career as a geophysicist to becoming a clinical hypnotherapist, Sreemanti Gijare’s journey has been nothing short of a roller-coaster ride. Graduating from the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, India marked the beginning of her transformative journey. After spending nearly 1.5 decades working for large corporations, she found herself at a crossroads, yearning for a deeper sense of purpose and meaning. Her first corporate job with Schlumberger, the best-paying oilfield company, taught her to fly and see the world in a new light. However, despite the financial freedom and professional growth, she felt underutilized and yearned to bring value to others.
Discovering Her True Calling
Sreemanti’s quest for her true calling led her to quit her corporate job and embark on an entrepreneurial journey. She started an online retail business, which was both challenging and rewarding. However, her inner voice kept nudging her towards a different path. After much introspection, she discovered hypnotherapy, a field that was unfamiliar to her but resonated deeply with her inner calling. She pursued rigorous training and completed all six levels of hypnotherapy in a record time of five months.
The Power of Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy opened a new world for Sreemanti. She continued and finished her Masters in Transpersonal Regression Therapy thereafter, which took almost two years. All these tools allowed her to tap into the subconscious mind, revealing the underlying emotional and psychological factors contributing to physical ailments. From physical to psychological to psychosomatic issues, all her clients were getting results. She witnessed firsthand the transformative impact of acknowledging and addressing these factors. From allergies and anxiety to chronic pains and hormonal imbalances, Sreemanti has successfully treated a wide range of issues, achieving a remarkable recovery rate of approximately 95% to 97%. She slowly started becoming a specialist in reversing chronic conditions. Words started to spread and without any advertising she started getting clients across the globe. So this worked both face to face and even online.
Overcoming Skepticism and Building a Client Base
Despite the effectiveness of hypnotherapy, gaining acceptance was a significant challenge. Many people, including her own sister, were skeptical about the power of hypnotherapy. However, demonstrating its effectiveness through successful treatments eventually converted skeptics into believers. Leveraging social media and word-of-mouth referrals, Sreemanti managed to build a diverse client base across different countries.
Embracing Change and Uncertainty
Sreemanti’s journey has taught her valuable lessons about embracing change and uncertainty. Transitioning from a stable corporate career to an entrepreneurial journey in hypnotherapy was daunting, but it taught her resilience and adaptability. She learned to trust the process and seize new opportunities, leading to profound personal and professional growth.
